  I wonder how Congress would react to know that a government that is hostile to US citizens is collecting way more information than TikTok could ever hope to get about citizens and uses that information to look for targets they can sway into doing things they might not normally do. How can they claim doing anything about tiktok would protect us when they ignore this massive wholesale collection of citizens data being used for unclear purposes. Then once they are all worked up, tell them its room 641A, and it is a shining example of the government not actually giving a shit about citizen privacy & has resulted in courts being lied to about how information was obtained which really seems to call into question that whole fair trial thing... But china video app bad, undermining the rights of all us citizens NBD.

  I see the defense of Elmo and I harken back to last week when someone accused me of hating baby jeebus, being blinded by hate, everyones done something bad.... There is CSAM FOR SALE ON TWITTER. Full Stop. ELMO FIRED THE PEOPLE WHO INVESTIGATE AND STOP CSAM ON TWITTER. Full Stop. ELMO IS IGNORING THE REPORTS OF CSAM FROM RECOGNIZED REPORTERS OF SUCH INFORMATION. Full Stop. If you have any argument to make that somehow this isn't horrific or its not Elmo's fault... What in the actual fsck is wrong with you? If you are going to try and defend Elmo ignoring bastards trading and selling CSAM on the site, I have to ask how defective is your brain. Children being abused on film for the pleasure of others who want to abuse children and some motherfucker is making arguments about how its somehow not Elmos fault because old twitter was worse....   Well Trump has a looooooooooooooooooooooooong history of stiffing people for services rendered.   I can't do better than I did on Mastodon.. Perhaps the problem is... you suck. I present as an immortal sociopath, and I manage to get interaction with people. I've reconnected with people I knew on teh twitters, people I knew from elsewhere, and a whole new group of people who had no idea what they were doing when they followed me... and they stayed. Maybe your instance choice was poor... consider moving. Maybe you just suck... try harder. The problem isn't Mastodon is the only truth to consider.

  Any chance of having the discussion this deserved is shot. There are people claiming that Trump did is the same was what Biden did and there is no fscking way to deal with them. They were just like a tourist group, imagine of him blocking the door and hiding behind an armed man protecting him, to handing out ar 15 pins to upset the libs. In the grand scheme of things, this issue will never been solved. More secrets, more secrets, more secrets is how the government operated & more often than not they can't explain why it has to remain a secret & there is no mechanism to force them to explain.

  serene sociopath smile I'll say this for Elmo, he knows what his target demo wants. Stop sputtering you sound like a motorboat. If he didn't intend to be the 1 stop shop for freaks sharing and SELLING CSAM to each other, there was a whole team that was doing their best... and he fscking fired them. Daily notices for a week before they removed CSAM a government flagged for them. Options - Elmo is king of the pedos. Elmo mistakenly believes his faithful aren't the bottom feeding scum b/c he is actively ignoring the sale of CSAM on his platform. Elmo doesn't give a single fsck about doing the right thing if it means he has to spend money to do it. If the next thing Twitter rolls out is the talked about allowing content creators to sell content via the site, its safe to say he is a corrupt soulless fsck so much worse than anyone wanted to believe. Meanwhile its kinda clear that its just not them being shot Congress is ignoring about children. There was a balloon... ooh scary... THOUSANDS of CSAM images are being sold & traded on Twitter and the owner doesn't seem to give a fsck, fired the team that deals with it, & cut ties with the groups trying to make the detection faster & more accurate. But hey at least they aren't being "silenced" any more as their faithful spend their time trying to own the libs and score that video of the hot new 8 yr old 'star'.
