  I turned 70 yesterday, and the 2 highlights of 1953 were the introduction of the Corvette, and publishing of issue #1 of PlayBoy. The Moral Crusade has been after "porn" ever since. They will keep going after it for ever more. It's what they do. They haven't stopped it yet...but they do keep trying, and they keep getting louder about it. And keep finding politicians to jump on the latest moral panic they stir up. We just have to keep watch, and keep fighting.

  The Dark Web will have a list of all the DL info for all the state government leaders available. The kids will find and use them. Then the site can "leak" the information on how many hours each of the "registered legislators" spend on the site...

  Every time I start the engine and drive to a new RV park on my cross-country journey, will they add another $4.00 for being on that parks WiFi with a different IP address? Or will I just save myself another $20/month by cancelling... hmmm...

  So "Big Tech" should update their monthly transparency reports to show their network and infrastructure bills. Put the $$ out there to show what that "Free Ride" actually costs. And be sure to include all the "above the line" and "below the line" charges.

  When does it become "piracy"??

  I have a country home where we keep the horses, and a small 950sf in-town home so I don't have a multi-hour commute. If the SO is in the country house and I'm in town and we are both watching, isn't that "family"?? Or is it just because I'm in a different house that it needs to be 2 accounts? What about when on assignment and I choose to live in the Foretravel in a local RV park, using my satellite internet to get to Netflix? Is that still "me" on my primary account, or do I need another account? If they can't figure that out, then I can quite easily hit the "Cancel Account" button and find a different source of entertainment. If it is advertised as "family account, 2 stream limit" then where each of the family members are should have ZERO impact. If it is "2 stream limit from same IP address", then that is a different answer. Oh wait, I have 2 internet lines - one business, one residential. Do I need to make sure that none of my devices switch to the other network? Again, not a "Black and White" easy to solve issue. A lot to work out, a lot of questions, a lot of options.

  Used to be that businesses paid the telco's for Yellow Page ads so that consumers had a place to go look up vendors and pick one to call to do business with them. What if google took this approach? You need consumers to contact you? Fine. We'll be the yellow pages for the internet, and you can pay us to advertise your offerings. Drop all links to all news services immediately, and publish their new "Business Advertising Rates". And you thought the screaming couldn't get any louder...

  by "any" government? So one to rule them all? Respond to 27 different requests about the same content? Get a consensus? Wait until one (or more) of them demands it be left up, and others demand it be taken down.. One countries news bureau posts it, another country objects to it. This is going to need a LOT of popcorn.
