  As toxic as government can be, with all its flaws, one of the worst aspects is how corrupt politicians have collaborated with corporations and the ultra-wealthy over the years to give them freedom to violate human rights and worker rights in this country for so long, they have never learned to use critical thinking in their decision making. To them, it's worth the effort regardless of expense and regardless of likeliest of outcomes.

  Unfortunately, that's just one of many myths in my industry of SEO. Deleting old content does not make a site "fresh" and since Bing is fully capable of indexing tens of millions of pages from any one site, with content going back 20 years on some sites, the issue is something else entirely.

  Yeah this is a big one. Even barring VPN usage, false IP identification has always been a real issue as long as I have been in the web business (since January of 95). What happens when a Wisconsin resident near the border with Michigan, has a Michigan ISP IP address? What about Michigan residents near the Wisconsin border, who have Wisconsin IP addresses? This effort would only cause more usability and liberty problems.

  I was taught how to beat the test

  Back in the day, I was in the Military Police in the Army. I was friends with one of the CID investigators on base and he literally taught me how "criminals" can beat the test. It was a demonstration in critical thinking in my own investigative work. "Don't trust anything or anyone if you can't get corroborating evidence. It's questionable at best."

  How greedy is Steve Huffman? I mean, reddit is overflowing revenue. And isn't Conde Nast still their primary stake-holder? I wonder if Huffman is being pressured to increase revenue. And another possibility is the bath reddit is taking in valuation. As reported on TechCrunch: "Fidelity Blue Chip Growth Fund’s stake in Reddit was valued at $16.6 million as of April 28, according to the fund’s monthly disclosure released over the weekend. That’s down 41.1% cumulatively since August 2021 when the asset manager spent $28.2 million to acquire the Reddit shares, according to disclosures the firm has made in its annual and semi-annual reports." Whatever the motivation, Huffman's approach is ridiculously myopic and typical of corporate greed-mongers.

It's beyond ridiculous at the extremes they go to in order to socially engineer human behavior. Newsom's probably really angry that Biden is seeking a 2nd term, meaning Newsom can't become President in 2024.

  Ah finally - a new variant of Prenda and Salt Marsh

  I miss the old days. Story after story about Prenda Law, and the infamous "Salt Marsh", among other shady characters. Seeing the steady flow of stories about DoNotPay, has begun easing my sadness that the Prenda days are over. And while they are entirely different cases, the hilarity of them is equal. The pathetic con artistry, the grifter mentality, are up to the task. So I need to thank Joshua Browder for being so bad at his own game. Truly. I appreciate it. And I look forward to many more lawsuits, and eventually, Browder getting shredded by the courts.
