US Carriers Continue to Announce 2.5G Services

SprintPCS plans to launch their CDMA 2.5G network nationwide in August. Their late launch gives them more time to learn from the mistakes of the other carriers, especially around pricing. Seperately Cingular announced that they will launch GPRS modem service in June. Currently Cingular GPRS service is limited to WAP.
