  I have not flown in over ten years, but those I know who fly regularly say it's like a circus act with an almost comically offensive intrusion of privacy getting to your flight, in the name of..oh hell, who knows.

  After doing all this reading on this entire NSA debacle and seeing how all the people on the side of the NSA and their defenders writhing in some form of disbelief on how they have been outed and how they should be free to do as they wish when they feel like it with out freedoms made me realize something: We're dealing with a serious amount of people who are effectively like serious drug addicts.
  
  A light has been put on them and the threat of taking away their drug of choice has them absolutely losing their shit, and all this shrill crying, screaming and name calling from various types would be amusing if it wasn't for the fact they are undermining our privacy, our liberty and constitution. In the name of security. If this is their idea of security, keep it, send it back, burn it.
  
  And Diane Feinstein has been seriously coming off as the mother of all these dolts acting like "No, my baby wouldn't do that, you're wrong!" all the while knowing she's lying to herself and everyone else. And now doddering Dan Coats is apparently yelling at all of us Americans for being in his NSA yard. *headdesk*

  I'm guessing you missed the finer points of the article on how if this get's amended, it means things a plenty change for the bad(I won't spell it out for you, you can re-read the article if you like, and I don't need you nitpicking my comment either, you're welcome).

  I couldn't tell you off hand but let me go get my calculator. The only way they can be held accountable is if his constituents call him to the carpet and demand a recall. As far as charges go, he would have to break whatever loose rules(more like loose guidelines anymore) they have in place for his state and at the federal level.
  
  In the event he got recalled, it would just be worse, he would morph into a lobbyist, and IF he was brought up on charges, he would most likely get a light sentencing if not an outright walk(AKA probation). There really is no way to stop them.

  Why give Patty-cakes any more publicity? Those of us that are somewhat rooted in reality know this guy is pretty much out the door with Alzheimer's or the onset of elderly dementia. Let him flail and rant until his clock winds down, which hopefully will be soon.
  
  I get where you're coming from, but anytime we give Patty-cakes or any of the members of the hyper evans. the 700 dur's club any press is just another reason for them to want to hang around.
  
  That said, I must be a present day Hitler, Jeffery Dahmer and Pol Pot all wrapped into a nice chunky bundle of horrible according to our favorite dipstick.
