You mean wait 6 months for the community to provide a mod to make the game closer to what it should have been at launch. Cause I'm not going near any Bethesda game that just launched till the modding community has had their chance at it.
Didn't need an AI to do that, just some computer code. https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/music-copyright-algorithm-lawsuit-damien-riehl-a9364536.html
As much as I would love to agree with you, we can't do that. The law has to be applied equally no matter how horrible the crime is. If the Constitution says "no general search warrents" then it means just that. To do otherwise is the first ateps off the slopes to tyranny.
Our congress critters are more concerned about grandstanding or doing everything in their power to keep the other party from accomplishing anything then they are about debating and creating good and usefull laws.
Shit like this is why people don't care about copyright and will just pirate a work. This is not how you build respect for a law and get people to abide by it.
Why do cops get a pass on using expired documents that allow them to do something otherwise illegal, but if I get pulled over with a 1 day expired driver's license or insurance card I get the rough end of the stick. The courts are there to help insure the other two branches don't overreach. If they had intended on a warrant to be open ended in terms of duration it could be executed they would have said so. If it is expired then it is expired, go get another one and explane to the court why you couldn't execute the first one.
So does this mean they are going to back off on Wiki Leaks and Julian Assange?
I would be very cautious about that. After all, no one expects the Spani... US Government Inquisition!
Even holding up people on the street is more dangerous: on the jet bridge, the TSA already has made sure that no defensive weapons remain in the passengers’ possession. What surprises me more is that there is actually any cash left for them to take from the passenger. The TSA is better at spotting and reporting large amounts of cash then it is in spotting a weapon.
You do realize that the only way the library can get those ebooks to lend out is to agree to the drm method of choice made by the publisher, right?
And this is why I really wish that after a bill has been voted on by Congress and signed by the President it immediately goes before SCOTUS for a yay/nay on it being constitutional. Waiting till someone has been harmed by a bill is already too late, "making good the damage dealt" is never as good an option as preventing the damage in the first place.
I work at a School of Nursing. For something routine, sure that nurse can take a moment to go look up some obscure method of care but I don't want them taking a minute to look something up in a crisis situation. There are some things that are critical they know front, back, and side to side, tis why when they take their exam on medication dosage they are only allowed to get 1 wrong answer. Anything else means someone could die.
If that means we get more and better research, I don't see an issue with that.
Can they even use the internet in general? Every browser defaults to HTTPS which I'm pretty sure uses an encrypted data stream.
If the idiot Officer approaches someone filming them and begins to question them, the filmer falls into that exception of filming while being questioned and less than 8 feet away.
Not sure what all the fuss is about. Both of them were just showing everyone how big the walls actually were.
Why not both?
The quality of images from the vast majority of security cameras is so low I don't see how they can get any sort of match confidence. Also there have been plenty of reports about how the various systems get the wrong face on minorities, and New Orleans is 60% black or African-American.
Oh I'm not arguing that the parents didn't have a responsibility to be doing the parental oversight thing. I'm just asking if tiktoc can get dinged for letting a 10 year old on in the first place cause that law I mentioned in the first post says child accounts have to be treated differently and with more "safeguards "
No Man's Sky has never charged a penny for any of its dozen or so major updates. The game is almost unrecognizable now compared to what it was at launch. Mind you, they are still charging you close to full price to buy the game, but once you do you get ALL the updates they have done since launch and every future update at no extra cost.
