I don’t use DDG (it doesn’t save search history) nor Google (search results are too mainstreamed to popularity over quality): But as of today, Bing, my hand-set default, offers over 1million results for the search Techdirt and “over” 10,000 for a site search site:techdirt.com. More accurately 100+ pages of 100 results. Clicking page 100 brings up only td site results. It was clearly a bug.
The only place you can get a copy is on resale websites and for lofty amounts of money compared to its original sale price when new.The average selling price for the game in 7.0-9.0 condition is Apx $30. From 9-new the price goes up a bit, but still averages under $90 Adjusted for inflation It’s below the day-one $97.82 price. Copyright laws suck. You don’t need fake fud to make the point.
This is the same activity some thieves use to determine if they should break a window or not. Why should only criminals use the technology?
The inadvertent is the pulling over of a non-white person breaking the law.
I’m sorry, fill me in. How do you know they are not white prior to stopping, getting out, and walking up to the car windows? Unless they are in a convertible or have their hands or feet out the windows like idiots, you, and they, don’t know. What regulations like this do is force cops to either lie about the race of a criminal, because a selection of local population committing illegal acts happens to be a minority, or stop enforcing laws completely.
Whether or not you agree with me, sir Sony, when it comes to their proven and well documented content crackdown… doesn’t matter. In the past I said two camps were crying about the deal, it’s actually three. 1) die hard Sony fans that would buy a case filled with poo if it had the PS logo on it. And Sony, whose dying platform is grabbing at anything to maintain what little relevance they still have. 2) government idiots who take tax payer money and use it to scream about any good merger that comes along while attempting to force breakups of companies to the detriment of the public. But there’s apparently a third group. Consisting of a mix of self righteous protesters and brains dead idiots. The idiots believing whatever nonsense comes from the mouths, or thumbs, of the protestors. This merger is good f or all except group one!! Former Sony exclusives are coming to Switch, PC, xBox, Mac, and Linux (the latter via steam). New content will come to more platforms than ever. A large development house has been freed of content Tierney. There is absolutely no reason any logical non-Sony-employee would disagree with this merger.
People act like this is about uk residents alone. Here’s the thing, this won’t change anything. Apple may close shops in the uK but… they can’t easily stop cross border sales. Nor can they change the fact that bypassing this is a simple change in settings. No… what will happen is millions of UK users stop using UK service. No-home esims are already very popular with knowledgeable travellers. These packages cost around $25-$50 per month, have unlimited voice and text, and a 1-100 GB data. The USER sets, and changes, the base country at will. Set it to France, and download the software from the play store in France. Sure there’s the inconvenience of swapping around the play store and music/TV offerings… but I doubt millions of iPhone users are going to give up their iPhone. I also don’t doubt… that the ease of carrier transfer to a non-uk eSIM is going to be an issue for most users. Congrats, parliament… you are going to decimate local telco industry
Somewhere along the way the idea of owning stocks went from supporting an idea to getting rich. That’s why alternative market stock opening platforms exist, to keep the fat cows out of it. These platforms limit total individual ownership. Making investing about the company and not the money. Boards don’t care about the product. Only the dollar. Look at Netflix for a prime example. Unfortunately fans can’t always compete. GameStop was a rare fluke. However it started it turned into fans saving the company. Same thing happened to WWE when the board pushed for a foreign sale of the company. It’s sad, really, how fat pigs can snap their fingers and … well!
That should be 3 decades, not 30
I don’t doubt the quality has improved, though the commercial sound fonts weren’t all that bad. My point is they have been worried about audio books for nearly 30 decades and… well nothing. The best selling ebooks are, were, and a likely always will be the “radio drama” format. Author read sells well enough but the rest never were movers.
I think you missed a minor issue. Conclusive doesn’t means the same as accurate. The idea of a distinct impression is junk science. Going beyond what the post says: Every round fired is ablative. Every (proper) cleaning of a barrel is abrasive Skimmed rounds are likely to match any weapon you want The idea that you can match a weapon to a round is absurd. No weapon can produce the same “fingerprint” twice.
I’ve been with Netflix since the pay per disc days. And I remember something about this from back then that works today. Burner email and prepaid debit cards. Add to that pay to rent “addresses” such as personal mail box and c/o services… People are exploiting free signup. And can do so nearly indefinitely. The sign of positive use is retention, not growth
This has been going on in the background since the 90s. Back in the late 90s I bought a speech font for $50 and a text to speech converter for $10. It took about 60 seconds to two minutes. It dumped mp3 files I could burn to mp3 disc and play in the car. Great for both daily news and classic books. Few titles I had were Alice in wonderland and mobi dick I wonder if I still have those discs somewhere.
Minor changes in a round change pressure in the barrel. Between boxes or even between runs in the same box. Different pressure makes different markings. It’s a common enough practice of small game hunters to use, or make, thinner shells. This reduces the pressure which makes for a softer impact. Allowing you to use small hard rounds to take down small prey vs using shot. Be it wild hog or large bird. Reducing both the amount of damage and the amount of post collection work. You going to tell me that criminals don’t understand the same premise? Even if the ballistics matching was 100% accurate it’s lost completely on this. And no, they will never make duplicate results with a reduced jacket/shell. They don’t sit flush so they always fire slightly differently. Given how easily it is to buy reduced rounds, the science may have worked in 1906 but not today.
Is I want a busty plushie. lol Mainly because it’s cute, but also because someone says I can’t have it.
Knowing Hawaii’s environmental issues of late, that’s what came to my mind d. Someone upset about the BLM and the string of criminal frauds of late. Stories of corruption and coercion. Arrests and court cases. MAGA kills that idea but that was my initial thinking with this being Hawaii.
So, he lied to authorities in official communicationNot necessarily. There’s quite a delay between setting up a company and actually finishing all the paperwork. Especially a limited corp.
You don’t like being wrong… do you?!?
Do you want to speak again, TrumpistYes. I do. It’s quite clear that local regulations worked. That’s the way a republic works. There was no need for a national regulation. The question was what negative effects did the repeal have. The answer is none. And no, I can’t think of a single thing I should thank the state of California for. I support their wish to leave the union. Though I throw far more support behind the calls to partition California into 3 states. Despite the quackery of the far left, the country will be no worse with a country of California next door than the state as part of it.
