  This is one of those things that has a simple solution that no one will do... (Like stopping gerrymandering with a math equation that just splits the population by number of people and no other metric.) The budget starts at how much they give the prosecution. Give 2.8 million to prosecute, 2.8 million for the public defenders. The system is supposed to treat everyone as innocent until proven guilty (and lets be honest they've convicted a bunch of completely innocent people), so if the system is supposed to be unbiased both sides get the same amount. Then punish brady violations. Then punish cops who end up on the brady list. Then make the "science" being used have to conform to an actual scientific standard for being accurate & repeatable. Politicians have spent so much time demonizing anyone who breaks the law (lets be honest, they know about breaking the law they do it way more than we do) & then rig the system so they can show the "good" people what a great job they are doing... and then when someone proves they were railroaded they suddenly don't want to compensate that person from ruining their life... something really sick and wrong there. You'd think there would be a punishment for people who lie/cheat/steal to win a 'conviction' of an innocent... maybe we should decide that is a serious crime that needs a serious punishment so people stop doing it.

  The trick is, it doesn't matter if what they say is true or not. The right wing echo chamber will run with it, repeat it, & pretend it has to be true. The base will keep supporting those same leaders that have managed to make sure all of the lowest rated states in nearly every metric are red, because they "KNOW" that it was all stolen and somehow despite them being able to find evidence on the toilet browsing facebook with their 4th glass of wine no one ever managed to submit it to a court. The GQP refuses to understand anything about the Constitution they took an oath to uphold screaming how these private companies violated their 1st amendment rights when they banned the 3 toed sloth for the 15th covid lie she posted, but she KNOWS it was because they wanted to interfere in the vote it can't possibly be that she violated the rules repeatedly. So tired of these professional victims who can't manage to string together a coherent thought being cheered on by people who believe that the train derailment was a secret attack on white people. Members of Congress have the right to say anything they want, however they should be called out for lying and none of this mealy mouth decorum way of doing it... MTG lied. It is impossible for Twitter to violate her 1st amendment rights, Twitter is not the government. We can't even manage outrage as they keep telling people the shot is more dangerous than the disease... how many more people need to die needlessly until its time to stop both siding these comments and just calling them fscking liars?

  We don't know why people have little respect for cops... Maybe if you decided to fire and charge the 2 who paralyzed someone... Maybe if you decided to fire and charge those who put an innocent man in jail for years... People murdered over a tail light being out and no charges ever filed.... but they did manage to leak all the bad details about the dead person... but we never get to see that this is the 5th fscking time someone ended up dead when this officer showed up on the scene.

  "and hate churches just because" Yes groups that regularly cover up the sexual abuse of CHILDREN tend to be on my shit list, especially when they hold themselves out as somehow morally superior to the rest of us heathens. They ignore polygamy, they ignore leaders raping children, they do NOTHING to help all of the young men thrown out of "church" so they won't compete with the sick old men who need 25 wives under 18. The dumped money into keeping other citizens from having the same rights they enjoy & abuse. Perhaps you need to look into your reasons why you are willing to defend religions even as evidence of their sins is laid bare before you over and over. Dude arrested for diddling kids, not a drag queen but a pastor/preacher and the church cares more about hiding the scandal and praying for the childfscker than the child... You hoping to show the world how much you believe so you can become a youth pastor?
