  "There is no systemic bias in policing in the US. There is no culture of exploitation and abuse.” This is flat fucking delusion. Dude, this statement is a sign of mental illness. It is factory and probably Wrong. Not just a little wrong, completely wrong. I have personally experienced the wrong and I'm Caucasian (tho with long hair). I've done IT for PD and I know how they're trained. What you just said was the equivalent of "The sun rise in the West this morning" levels of wrong. Damn you've been into the Kool-Aid.

  Kay time I checked, "Devices" in the military are rather strictly regulated and (say the USMC) will gig you for having even a 1mm discrepancy. The Township decides the devices on a uniform or vehicle... not PD.

  KeePass. Works on my Linux, Android, Apple Stuff, Windows Stuff and there's a plugin for NextCloud that I can use in a pinch. Syncing with Nextcloud (to address a reply below) beans I have a copy on my laptop, tablet, phone, backup drive, and NextCloud. This has saved my ass more times than I can easily count.

  I live in Redmond ("East Seattle", whatever) Ave I assure this has caused a Grade A shitstorm up here. Seattleites, who tend toward reactionary anyway, want Everyone's heads to roll from the mayor down.* And rightfully so. Like so many large metro departments, SPD is massively dysfunctional... to the point of "Wipe and Replace".

  That's the thing about the Link Taxes that baffles me ... How Many news sites embed tweets in their stories? Hell I've seen articles that are like two paragraphs and then a dozen embedded tweets, or screen captures (or a whole damned thread) and so really their content is almost nothing But Twitter content, and I'm guessing Jack's Twitter didn't see a dime. That might be something fun to show one of them legislator types.

  I'm sorry, me and my laptop running MetaSploit and carrying my lock picks and Social Engineering are more effective (Single target). AI is no more relevant in this space than me scanning a target. Not useful. Humans are better at exploiting humans.

  I'd never trust devices returned to me by LEOs. Garbage likely, but might spend time noodling looking for malware, tho I suspect a town of 2000 and give cops doesn't have its own "cyber" group. Insurance should actually cover it, I'd certainly call my agent.
