    By Design,...

that "OPT OUT" is by OBVIOUSLY by design,.. to PROVE! BEYOND ANY SHADOW of DOUBT! That a real, living, breathing, person resides at the end of that purchased email address,... that,.. they were not entirely sure was real,.. but NOW! muhuhahahaha!!! RELEASE THE FLOOD GATES!!! WE GOT A LIVE ONE!!!!

to quote: "likely to be accessed by a child" Remind me again who it was that placed the IoT Baby Rattle, the IoT Crib Mobile, the Cellular Telephone, into said "child's" hands,...

    Logical Progression,...

to quote the True Fans article: "As the Passion Economy grows" which can easily be read: "the more you tickle their ears, there you go,...$" and the logical progression that should surprise none, that the greedy/selfish/et al. in wanting more will begin deceiving,... so that they can get more,... A model that seems the exactly identical to the model used by Liars--i mean Politicians. rinse/repeat, ad nauseum.

    Funny, that,...

funny that 'Pubic-ans, who actively state themselves as being 'holier than thou' yet who seem to have never read the part where it is stated: "if you do well, will you not be accepted?" Need one continue the warning of what happens when one does NOT do well,...? oh. riiiight, forgot. the 'Pubic-ans just write their own law to obliquely or vaguely state that (only)they did no wrong,.. got it.

    Reverse Streisand Effect(RSE)

That way,.. when all of their "external" fears[read: anyone else that they might blame] have been mitigated, and there is a catastrophic rail failure (a-typically due to lack of maintenance) there will be NO ONE that they can blame, and will be forced to ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY for said lack of maintenance and deaths.

    Hypocrisy, much?

Show of hands: Anyone notice, how the Gub'ment agencies that would BENEFIT everyone from said record keeping the most are hamstrung, lobotomized, and/or castrated; Yet, other agencies have UNLIMITED budgets to do exactly the same record keeping as well as have the ability to sift said records, which are then used to the detriment everyone. Anyone? Beuller?

Presenting on Russian media doesn’t mean you personally are Russian media. to coin a VERY old phrase: "How can two walk TOGETHER, lest they AGREE?"

  • Apr 08, 2022 @ 07:43am

    what was that about Propaganda?

it need be said, for any re-teller of stories, CONTEXT & History are always key, lest the simplest or most gross event can be trivialized or framed in a delusion of grandeur. Case in point: "virus deaths in red states" linked in above story. Where does that detail come from? its root? How about with the "No Child Left Behind" venue (and similar, akin to the ancient policy of "NONE but Royalty[those in ruling power at the moment] are allowed to learn to read & write" for it is said the less educated are easier to delude.) of assuring none learn the absolute benefit of proper nutrition, and how so many are dead due to believing the lie of "all you need to eat is as much carbohydrates (bread, cake, cookies, candies) as you can to be healthy!"

I fully appreciate your automated solution! Something I have thought on many times due to the static & volatile nature of DashCams. How absolutely EXCELLENT to have such a system where the DashCam, et al. footage is continuously uploaded outside/away from the vehicle!!! Best yet! even if (God forbid) the DashCam or Car are completely destroyed in a collision, the last minutes prior to said destruction is preserved!

    Call Direct!

I noted the onerous "fees" when ordering from local restaurants online. Hence me forward ALWAYS calling the restaurant directly to place my order for delivery. Only good thing online menu's offer is a means of comparison shopping--Caveat Emptor"Buyer Beware" Wait,... why would the buyer need to be aware of the seller? or intermediary, in this case, hhmm,...

    Anyone Notice?

Does anyone notice that this situation that Russia chooses to take actually brings light on the EVIL of this Country? [those whom refuse to self-evaluate need not read further into the SPOILER ALERT] The point where software(pc, device, entertainment) industries want to SHACKLE, CHAIN, RESTRAIN, Bring into SLAVERY/BONDAGE, et al. any and everyone that they can. To the tune of: "if one does NOT have an Internet connection, you can not use what you purchased; if can not LOG IN you can not use what you purchased; if you have expired CC# on file, you can not use what you purchased; one can not receive updates (on purposefully poorly compiled wares) you can not use what you purchased." Also, with the institution of Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt (FUD) by said industries, enforcing the blind acceptance of even more poorly compiled wares (AV industry and microFlaccid, anyone?) that make one's systems the more susceptible to failure and theft. Also also, the monetary shackling akin to a Leach, benefiting only the ware purveyor, whom realizing the evil that they inflict, allows the additional corruption of said wares to precipitate even more failures, thus scaring more into their electrified gilded cage. alas, tis but the tip of the iceberg,... those whom read TechDirt regularly ought see these aspects most clearly,...

    Show of Hands,...

who among us expect that China is panting with anticipation when they too can "invade a democratic neighbor"? (depending on what flack Russia receives) Funny also, how over countless generations, so many have been "trained" since childhood to NEVER address the problem at its source (lest they get even more henpecked[read: nationalistically gas lit]) Good that in the Testing & Proving of ALL things, the actual SOURCE be identified, and removed. Is here any surprise why is your prized Juliet Rose is dying due to be strangled by Kudzu?

    Ever Notice?

has anyone ever noticed the a-typical narcissistic tendencies of "educational" institutions of "you MUST! KNOW! EV! ERY! THING! RIGHT! NOW!" and how if one does not recall--quick-enough, that they are discouraged, denigrated, rejected,... and yet,.. as all should have well-experienced by now, that everyone educated, regardless of industry, has shelves, rooms, whole libraries FULL of BOOKS that they check when presented with something vaguely familiar that they are uncertain of. What ought be tested is one's ability to 1. understand what the problem is, and 2. then remember enough to refer to the appropriate resource, paper, log, database, book, etc. for the correct answer. Guess their doctorates, certificates, et al. should be revoked if they happen to not know everything, RIGHT NOW!

    Ahhhh, the Beauty,...

I personally just LOVE seeing (now in "in real time") the Real World exemplification of Test & Prove ALL Things is shown to actually work! And of course, the re-pub-lick-ans, oligarchs, et al. HATE such verification, such a "shining lights in dark places," for it shows their evil,...

    News Flash?

yeah, as from personal experience from over 20 years ago, having been enlisted for a few years at that point when i was stationed in a armor unit in Germany, just prior to deployment to the first Gulf "War," seeing the new soldiers fresh out of basic, "be bopping" along in uniform prior to formation--not walking, like normal humans, not holding proper posture, but moving like an anthropomorphized Slinky. Displaying that the affect of the single soldier individual apartments (no, not barracks) during basic training with all their hand-holding lest they cry while being trained for the stresses to be experienced in COMBAT; being afraid that one of the children might whine to their momi, who then will whine to their Congress member about the "poor, innocent, helpless little child" being yelled at (oh, the humanity!) in basic training; THIS "news" is by no means a surprise, more like, duh. So what better way to undermine countries' sovereignty: whittle away ANY means of holding those principles that established said country by assuring the children remain children as long as possible into "adulthood." If you need ANY additional proof: just note those chaotic four years where we had to endure the infantile antics of a certain Rump, roast, that was in Office.

..."any behavior that affects flight safety" Really? "any" behavior? liiiiiike: poor maintenance of the plane itself? like: extraneous and internal electronic activities in & around air ports? like: the training and trustworthiness of the pilots? like the quality of the fuel(s) used? funny. all the above, and I am assure so much more "affect flight safety." But of course, everyone knows all of the C-level people are only whining like 3yo children and about anything that may affect themselves, with ZERO regard for anyone else.... like, their paying customers, foolishly expecting to be flown to their destinations.

much has obviously changed(indeterminate quality at this time)

i can tell an obvious change: there are many more attempts to run other domains' scripts then previously; that fact is never a good thing. also I can confirm, the above welcome banner seems permanent, as the [X] does nothing to remove said banner.

why yes, yes i am; currently with an Elevation of 200 ft. above sea level ;)

  • Feb 17, 2022 @ 11:54am

    Right on Cue,..

just as microFlaccid announced their shackling of winX+1 users per the Ars article: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2022/02/new-preview-build-adds-microsoft-account-requirement-to-windows-11-pro/
[next will be that can NOT log even into your PC until you update your subscription payment info] i.e. "All Your Files are Belong to Us."

in ALL cases, removing one's ability to MANAGE one's own devices as well as their OWN Children[per KOSA], all for the purpose to make ever the worse, present situation(s).

Rather an effective means to dissuade one from purchasing new gear, as well as having children,... at least in the venue of the cesspools called cities.
