Wireless-Gear Vendors Wait For Their Call
An analyst for S&P is writing in Business Week that times are tough for anyone providing technology for 3G networks, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better in the near future. They think that things will eventually pick up, but it doesn’t look to be anytime soon. This is a pretty standard cop-out prediction. Say things will get better at some point in the semi-distant future so that people are mildly optimistic, but tell them it won’t be for a while, so they don’t remember whether or not you were right in your predictions later on.
