Sprint PCS Unveils First Camera Phone

Sprint PCS has been advertising their PCS Vision service offering pretty heavily – talking up how you can use it to take and send pictures around. However, doing so requires a separate camera, which appears to be a major stumbling block for many consumers. Next month, however, they’re going to start offering their first mobile phone with a built in camera. I’m still not convinced that picture taking from a mobile phone is a real “killer app”, but many people keep insisting that it is. It should be interesting to see adoption rates, and usage patterns.
