Wireless Blackmail At Toronto Airport

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority, which operates Toronto’s Pearson Airport, is blackmailing the four national Canadian wireless carriers. The GTAA plans to shut off power to the facilities which support cellular service at the airport on Wednesday due to a break down in negotiations with the carriers. The GTAA wants the carriers to improve cellular service around the airport but so far the carriers haven’t responded well to the GTAA’s proposal. Killing the power should make them really happy to return to the negotiations. Happy Canada Day!
