Wireless is the Message
The Feature has an interesting interview with Derrik de Kerckhove, the director of the McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology at the University of Toronto. He has some interesting things to say about wireless and wireless messaging. Probably the most interesting thing he says is that the mobile is the one of the powerful globalization tools around. Personally I think the Web is more powerful, but more people have phones than computers or web access.
