Napster Agreement To Sell Other Major Label Tunes

from the slowly-getting-the-rights dept

Sometime soon, there’s supposed to be an announcement that Napster has come to an agreement with MusicNet to be able to offer up songs from three major labels. The details sound fairly confusing – and I’m still not sure why anyone cares about Napster any more. Just about everyone I know has switched to some other sort of file sharing program. Napster has become more difficult to use, with less selection. That doesn’t seem like the best way to drive customer adoption.
