Amazon Opens Outlet
from the false-advertising dept
Amazon is getting ready to launch an outlet store online for items they’re trying to get rid of. However, in looking into the store, CNET found that the prices really aren’t that great. Many of the items are offered at the same price as they are on Amazon’s regular site, and others can be found even cheaper at other online retailers. Still, perception can often beat out reality, and I’m sure people will still shop at the outlet thinking they’re getting bargains, even if they’re not.
