I think the point is that those two-year terms you refer to are set at the signing of the contract (when it starts). The company can't decide after 1 year that the new cash money to own is twice as much, or you can only pay with gold, or that option is no longer available.
Note that I didn't refer to you as a dipshit in writing, regardless of what I may think in my head.
Yep, deals.techdirt.com login is separate from techdirt.com account. I don't use NoScript, but I wouldn't be surprised if it disabled most of the functionality on deals.techdirt.com- Lots of scripts from all over the web.
According to Dyconn's specs, it will handle UK mains input. If you have a spare C7/figure-8 cord (I'm sure you can find one cheap), I'd jump on this deal. I built a smaller multi-charger from the 5V/5A power supply, USB ports, and misc bits salvaged when my Virgin Webplayer died. But I've been looking for one with a more ports and more power, and this looks like a winner.
Past opt-out attempts failed miserably, but I signed up through yellowpagesoptout.com this year and it seems to have worked. One of the publishers called to say that their directory had been sent out to customers the previous week, and to let them know if we incorrectly received a copy. They did go on to say that I could request a copy if I wanted one, and touted their online directory and mobile app, but it was kinda nice to get that call.

Better this time around
