Republicans spam email inboxes, Democrats spam text messaging services.
Every elecrion, I get about a dozen unsolicited spam emails from Republicans and about 100 spam text messages from Democrats (despite the fact I am not named Lequisha or Diamond, and have had the same number for the past 10 years. Democrats claim they get my number from the secretary of state voter list, despite me being a registered independent).
Gee...if there was only some way to protect people's information online from prying eyes. You know, something where only the intended recipients could decipher it.
The cynic in me says what they really want this access for is so they can seize all the money scammer call centers make and pocket it for themselves...plus they'll have all the financial details the scammers have on their victims so an unscrupulous official down the road could rip the victims off again.

The harm this site provides is teaching children to question and think for themselves. Obviously, parents are too busy to do this for their children, so the legislature feels the need to do it for them.
