  First of all, this is always been about power. As recent as seven years ago, NYPD would arrest you if you recorded them in the subway. Cops hate cameras they only wear them because we have paid for programs for them and are forced to wear them, proof of this is cops who will do felonies, even when their body cameras are running because they're convinced they are right, NYPD was convinced that it could prevent photography that wasn't theirs but don't believe me just go to YouTube and search on "NYPD lawsuit".

  I have followed him and others for years. Texas has a long history of arresting, charging, being sued, and losing. It remains a cottage industry. A critical case was settled there a few years ago. Turner v Driver. The guy Turner has been detained when doing the same thing. Being black, he gets special treatment. A body cam recording of a cop realizing they detained the man he cited in case law during his "arrest" is epic.

  What sites are you reading or getting mail from? Oh I found a Fox story.
  No one gets immunity. What is the case is the names and addresses are withheld.
  A speeding stop results in a ticket. A violation results in a ticket. What is happening is some, we don't know how many but even the Fox piece admits most are law-abiding do not get the notices or are not traced down. This is mostly for toll and parking. No body blows speeding which can result in a warrant.

  What the FBI really is asking Apple to do is software development. Apple says it doesn't have the ability to unencrypt or jailbreak the phone at its current state. The FBI wants apple to create an FBiOS for this supposedly one time usage.
