This author is an anti-American anarcho-communist who hopes your communities defund police and devolve into lawless hellscapes. You say this like it's a bad thing.
Don't worry about it. I doubt the site where you found that info was trying to mislead you about the date of the decision. (I assume it was the Marshall Project or someone quoting its work). If nothing else, we're all back at square one, hoping cops will do better in the future. (Still have no answers on the submission link, though. I contribute posts but have nothing to do with the back end of the site.)
Not sure why the submission link doesn't work, but we did cover this when the decision was issued by the Fifth Circuit.
[thumbs up emoji] thanks for reading!

According to you guys, there should be no limits to forcing sexual perversions and mental sickness of all kinds onto innocent children. Everyone here at Techdirt is always so angry that normal healthy people don’t want the evil sex perverts polluting their kids, and that parents have a perfect right to demand that it not be allowed. In other words, your “morality” is totally self-centered, with zero respect for others and no consideration for the health, beauty, and permanence of a successful culture. Given that homosexuality is not going away, it may behoove you flaming radicals to calm down and figure out a way for the big boys to bugger each other silly without smearing their crap in front of everyone else. AND LEAVE THE CHILDREN ALONE.DAMN. SHUT IT DOWN BOYS ABBE FARIA IS ON TO US
a natural response to the wokeAh, yes. Let's not forget the Constitutional amendments that guarantee the right to oppress the "woke."
Ah, always good to hear from one of the bill's sponsors.
More utter nonsense from techgarbage. I’m so upset I’ve hired some 10 year olds to help write a book on fistingHow many "My Child Fisted Your Child" bumper stickers can I put you down for?
I think my first pass said "cracking devices to crack devices" as a nod to Canada's British heritage.

I think in most cases they can. But under these circumstances -- and under this state law -- it definitely appears they have no right to evict him, much less arrest him,
Hot drop, drop top, top drop, [Buyers] drop it like it's [shot], yeah [Twitter], I'm the shit (Wipe me down)
I have always made it clear I support anarchy and chaos. I'm somewhat insulted you seem to believe supporting anarchy and chaos is somehow a hidden motive of mine. Please pay more attention to my writing in the future.

You misspelled "laudable"
Yes, it's so common union leaders and politicians are regularly calling for legislation that protects EMTs and firefighters from being assaulted. They even raise awareness by selling merchandise featuring the "thin red line" flag to ensure people properly respect those who put their lives on the line to save people from injury or death. It's been in all the papers. Why, just last week, I heard an EMT union head claim that proposed legislation made it more difficult for first responders to do their jobs. Because of the additional scrutiny, EMTs and firefighters were refusing to respond to emergency calls and participating in "sick outs" to press their point. We cover this all the time at this site because it's a huge problem. Public safety is of utmost importance and we can't have first responders (other than cops) refusing to provide first aid or extinguish fires. Not only that, but it's these agencies that are demanding outsized portions of local budgets while refusing to do their jobs because they think some people might not like them. But point taken: I'll try to Google better from now on.
