Yesterday I asked ChatGPT to explain how the split command for the terminal worked. Then it made me a simple AppleScript using the terminal command. I did some testing and it worked fine. When asked general questions ChatGPT sounds like a politician: bland and blander.
Every movie in Germany has an age recommendation. Last summer I was bored and wanted to watch some cop show on the German broadcasting station ZDF. I either had to wait until 22:00 to watch the show or ... register with my passport. I had to enter some digits of the passport which obviously showed my age. I then got a PIN code and I was able to watch the series. I don't think that age verification is good. But that's how it works in Germany. Are American children allowed to watch porn or graphic violence?
But but but the security!!! You have to decide that the computer can be booted from an external hard disk. When you do need that? When you probably can't change the option anymore. Friend of mine fried his Mini over the weekend. He had to bring the computer to the Apple Store because he wasn't able to fix the computer himself. The warranty is expiring tomorrow. Because the end date of the repair - whatever is fried - is after the end date of the warranty he has to pay for another year of AppleCare.
What about:
The New York Times report is behind the usual paywall so I can't check it out. Recently Jan Böhmermann from ZDF Magazin Royal put the laws to test. ZDF is a German broadcasting company. Magazin Royal is a comedy show. They took some random hate speech and gave the same complaints to each police headquarter in all states. Of course, they didn't tell the police that the hate speech was a test. After 10 months they asked the police departments about results. Some police departments even sent the person away who made the complaints which is against the law. Otherwise the result of the complaints was a bit fat nothing. A couple of years ago a high ranking police officer was killed in Germany after such hate speech. So the police should take hate speech more seriously.
The last I read a couple of days ago is that Germany wants to follow the Huawei stupidity.
What is the current status of Musk playing with Twitter?
Shouldn't the Republicans like to burn the books first? That always works well.
Normally, I enjoy Techdirts articles because they make sense. The "testimonial" above is majorly confused. Why is the GPRD bad? Because Prince Harry is confused? Why should the first amendment be absolute? Can't any law be abused?
Does Frump stiff all his lawyers? Are they all bottom feeders? Don't lawyers talk to each other? Is being a Frump lawyer something to brag about or something to be embarrassed about?
In Germany I can go to the website of an ISP and after entering an address I get information if the ISP serves an address. There is even a speed range available. Is this not possible in the US?
House listings always contain the internet speed.
According to the test I must think about a career change! Super silly questions.
