  AI dont think they are all that smart

  I suspect this is a case of automating takedown requests using AI, and without any human participation in the process. We need to educate people that you cannot depend on AI to make final decisions on anything. Always have a human check its work.

  aside from the torture..

  We have to presume they had no reason at all to believe foul play had occurred since they havent presented anything to back that up. They just found they had someone they could take advantage of, and their abusive personalities went for it like a rabid dog.

  Again, this is humans using computers. Whenever anyone implies that the computer is violating copyright they are wrong. Computers cannot violate the law. Only the humans using the computer can. So the question is whether it is a violation of copyright to use a computer to mass read the internet.

  "You can’t jail a computer so the leverage is out the window." Thats irrelevant. This has never been about computers doing stuff. Its about people doing stuff "using a computer". Somehow that point keeps being missed!

  Civil rights were violated by the person that swung first. We cant just be saying that it "devolved" as if both sides were at fault. If you are attacked you have to defend yourself, and that does not make you equally at fault.

  I dont mind using facial recognition to catch someone, but 1 you shouldnt lie about it and 2 it should not be used as identification evidence in court. Its not accurate enough to rely on as evidence.

  If you cant prove a crime without the defendant himself giving you evidence then you simply dont have proof. Go to trial without the phone and make your case.
