  I think a large part of it was people that did not vote because they were assured that Hillary would win in a slam dunk and wanted to "make a statement" that she wasnt liberal enough.

  is hacking your own property still legal?

  What if I just hack the software to turn it on myself? Unless they have something against that in the purchase agreement I cant see how they would prevent it. And no they dont get to void the warrantee unless that was specified in the agreement.

  did they perjure themselves to get the warrant?

  I know they are supposed to show the judge evidence justifying the warrant. At the very least they have to testify how they know there are drugs and a kidnapping. So was it perjury, or simply a rubber stamp judge that needs impeachment?

  Its better that the scotus decide 5-4 than that every court district go their own way with no higher court to force them to all follow the same law. Do you also think that congress need be unanimous before they can pass a law?

  Why is a 11-1 jury decision invalid but a 5-4 circuit or SCOTUS decision is just fine?

  Because a decision on guilt is that much more important than a decision on law. And also if a ruling on law required unanimity every courtroom in the country would create its own rulings because they could be sure they would almost never be overturned by a higher court since there is never unanimity.

  You cant be certain of guilt beyond reasonable doubt if you dont even have a unanimous jury.

  Given that, the Irish DPA has been somewhat under pressure to come up with a scalp to show the rest of the EU to prove that it’s “serious.” That seems kind of shady. Each case should be decided on its own legal merits, not under pressure to make a statement.

  If you charge the content provider for data the consumer is asking for then telecoms could setup fake user accounts and request tons of data just to make the content provider pay more. You're setting up for a ripoff scheme.

  My point isnt about their choice. Its about your choice, and I specifically cited the case where it was not a life or death emergency, which of course website design isnt. Would you choose A: a person that has empathy for you as a person B: a person that is being forced to do the job because "its the principle of the thing" And if you go for B then would you REALLY trust them to do their very best they are capable of? Come on. Of course you wouldnt. Be honest now.

  Honestly, would you want a nurse giving you aid that didnt want to? "That shot didnt hurt did it? Oh dont be such a baby". Personally Id rather switch to a nurse that doesnt hate me, unless it was such an emergency that there was no choice.

  It sounds like the lower court was in collusion with the officer's deception. They literally entered facts in the record inconsistent with evidence. That court needs to be cleaned up along with those officers.
