Motorola Missing The Holiday Rush With Camera Phones
I imagine that whoever is at fault in this situation may quickly find themselves out of a job. Just as camera phones are really catching on and as Motorola tries to rebuild some excitement around their mobile phones – two carriers have put out the news that Motorola’s new camera phones won’t hit the market in time for the holidays. Motorola has said they would be out, and Cingular and Verizon Wireless said they expected to have the phones by now – but are empty-handed. Apparently, AT&T Wireless is still waiting for their shipment as well. Setbacks happen, but this certainly doesn’t look good for Motorola at a time when they needed to beat some expectations, not fall well short of them.
