Hutchison Uses 3G To Undercut Rivals

As Hutchison gets ready to launch their 3G network in Australia, plenty of people are positively shocked that they’re pricing the service aggressively – significantly below competitors, and not necessarily trying to squeeze every last penny out of early adopters. I don’t know enough about mobile phone service pricing in Australia to know if this is really true or not, but it’s good to see a carrier focused on pricing for adoption – rather than pricing for immediate profit.
