Businesses Getting Into The Wi-Fi Act

WiFi isn’t just about people setting up wireless access points at home, as more and more businesses are setting up WiFi access points at the office. The latest Jupiter study says that 57% of US companies already use WiFi and another 22% plan to install them within a year. These numbers sound incredibly high, but even if they’re off by a bit, it’s still an amazing sign about how quickly WiFi has spread. Interestingly, smaller companies are leading the charge, as they realize how cheap it is to set up a wireless LAN offering – while also being able to capitalize on the additional benfits (mobile employees, more productive meetings, etc…).
