Nokia Says You Should Only Use Nokia Batteries With Its Phones

Nokia is getting picky. They’re telling people to only use Nokia batteries on Nokia phones. Officially, this is because of some mysterious “reports” about overheating batteries. They also warn that using a different battery can void your warranty. I’ll take Nokia’s word that they’re telling the truth here, but it does sound an awful lot like the various printer companies that insist you need to use their (incredibly overpriced) ink cartridges or your printer might explode.
