Canadian Online Pharmacy Calls For Glaxo Boycott

from the cheap-drugs-for-everyone dept

A week and a half ago we ran a story about Canadian online pharmacies serving American customers, and how they were pissing off the drug makers. In that article, it mentioned that the various big pharmaceutical companies were threatening to cut off these online pharmacies if they discovered they were selling their drugs back into the US. It appears that GlaxoSmithKline did exactly that, so at least one of the pharmacies is fighting back. They’re emailing all of their customers and telling them to boycott all Glaxo products to get the message across. Of course, the difficult here is that most people have no idea what products GlaxoSmithKline makes. I also doubt enough people would participate in such a boycott to make an impact on Glaxo.
