Video Game Nominated For Award, But Too Graphic To Show
from the so...-why-nominate? dept
Why would you nominate a video game for a design award if you believed that it was too graphic to show at a museum exhibiting the nominees? You would think that if they believed the game was that graphic and a problem to show, that it wouldn’t be deserving of a nomination. It’s somewhat indicative of the standard censorship double standard, where someone decides that, while they’ve survived (with no ill effets) seeing something “awful”, it’s their job to prevent others from seeing what they’ve seen.
