As companies begin to realize that the biggest threat to their computer networks is someone with physical access to their network, it seems that the world of computer security and physical security are coming together. Technology is now being place to help monitor what’s happening in the physical location of servers, to make sure nothing questionable is going on. Eventually, many security experts say that the two fields will overlap completely. Certainly, physical security procedures can be upgraded by making use of technology. Some companies are even tracking employees physical locations to their network activity to see what they’re up to, and from where.
