Cell Phone Warns Of Heart Attack

IBM has developed a prototype heart monitor that can text message emergecy services via Bluetooth and a mobile phone if the wearer’s heart rate hits dangerous levels. Of course for the device to work properly the users mobile phone need to be on and programmed with an emergency number. We’ll see more ideas and devices like this as wireless technology become less expensive and more pervasive.
