Woman Jailed For Using Sheriff's Domain Name To Sell Porn

from the not-so-smart dept

I don’t want to rush to judgment or anything, but I would think, that if I had been convicted for “pandering obscenity” and told not to sell any more homemade porn tapes, that I wouldn’t go back online and sell more porn tapes. Even more to the point, I think it would be particularly shortsighted of me to start selling the tapes again using a domain name consisting of the local sheriff’s name. No matter what your thoughts are on this woman’s rights, it just doesn’t seem smart to not only violate the terms of her conviction, but to then taunt the very person responsible for making sure she doesn’t break the law again.
