Text Messaging For The Blind
BT’s research arm, BTexact has created a new system to let blind users participate in the text messaging revolution. After hearing from some blind visitors who felt left out, the researchers put together a system using some text-to-speech technology, which has been designed to recognize many common abbreviations used in text messaging.
