T-Mobile Expands To Borders

T-Mobile plans to deploy 400 new Wi-Fi hotspots early next year at select Borders book stores. Stores in California will be the first to go live. T-Mobile continues to aggresively grow its Wi-Fi footprint. This deal puts them at around 2000 locations, the largest of any US provider. Of course locations alone do not guarantee success. While pricing will play a key factor, we believe the real pay off will come when T-Mobile can offer seamless roaming between their Wi-Fi and GPRS networks.
