PalmSource To Support 2-Way Paging
0Pas signed a deal with paging company WebLink Wireless to support their ReFlex 2-way paging network. Palm OS based devices with ReFlex should be available sometime in the first half of 2003. While paging networks aren’t sexy, they have some advantages over cellular that could help grow the adoption of wireless data. They have better coverage and in-building penetration, are inxepensive and allowed in hospitals.
