Nextel's Direct Connect Ready To Go National
Nextel’s unique differentiator is its walkie-talklie like Direct Connect service. To date Direct Connect has been limited to regional communication. But all of that is about to change as Nextel upgrades Direct Connect to work nationally. In theory this should help Nextel go after road warriors. But I’m wondering if Direct Connect is the right way for road warriors to stay in touch.
