Samsung Signs Cingular

Samsung continues to grab handset marketshare today by announcing an agreement to supply number two US carrier Cingular. The two have launched a new phone, the SGH-n625, in Cingular’s GSM markets. Look for more Samsung models, and hence sales, as Cingular overlays GSM across its TDMA network. Samsung is already a major provider to SprintPCS and T-Mobile USA.
