Palm Gets Down To Business
Palm has been under fire over the years from the likes of Microsoft, Compaq, and RIM. Announcements over the last week indicate that they aren’t going to take it anymore and a strategy seems to be coming to life. The’ve already split the hardware and software parts of their business. Now they are splitting their products into two new brands. The Tungsten line will focus on enterprises and will include wireless data oriented devices and servers that enable wireless email and groupware. The Zire line will carry on Palms traditional focus on consumer class PDAs.
