A Blackberry Price War

Everyone agrees that the Blackberry is great, but there are still less than 500,000 subscribers to the service. Besides the device costs, the service costs can be quite daunting and so it’s usually limited to top execs. But Motient, a Blackberry network operator and reseller, is offering new pricing that spreads the start up costs across the contract term when using a Blackberry device with servers by Wireless Knowledge. This move is sure to spark a price war and make users look beyond RIM’s backend servers and more closely at competitors Wireless Knowledge and Good.
