It's a wireless world…Kind Of

A new study of wireless internet use in the US indicates that 11 percent of US wireless subscribers use wirless data services on their phones or PDAs. While that’s not high, it higher than I would have suspected. To really understand if wireless data is taking hold in the US, we’ll need to see how that number grows over the next year as more devices roll out and prices drop. What I’m really waiting to see though is the percent of revenues that data represents for carriers over the next few quarters.
