Bob Cringely sure knows how to spark controversy. His latest column really pissed off Dave Sifry, who thinks Cringely is an idiot. Cringely wrote that his experience with Wi-Fi has not been great and that HomePlug is a better alternative for home networking. What people seem to be reacting to is that Cringley has written off Wi-Fi without noting the strong adoption rate.
