DoCoMo to cut I-mode rate
In a sign that that the Japanese wireless data market is maturing, NTT DoCoMo announced that will it will cut I-Mode rates for customers who spend over $255 a month. They hope that the price cut will incent users to use more data and win customers over from rival KDDI. They also plan to announce a similar price drop for users of their FOMA 3G service.
