The 3G Sporting Life
An interesting article talking about a new wireless system (only in the prototype stage) which is designed to give the sporting fan more info while at the event (this fits nicely with the betting-by-phone story below this one). They point out that the rabid sports fan likes to have lots of information and the ability to see replays – things that can be done at home. But, at the same time, they also like to attend sporting events live, where they don’t have access to such things. However, with some wireless technology, they can have the best of both worlds.
