Tiger Beat Journalism Alive And Well At Business Week

from the hard-hitting dept

theodp writes “Business Week’s editors pull all punches in an oh-so-polite interview with Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, holding the CEO’s feet to the fire on the really tough issues like looking up phone numbers online (doesn’t make sense to Jeff – 411 and good old-fashioned phone books are so practical!), favorite movie (Dr. Strangelove is Jeff’s all-time favorite!), and his love of sashimi (it’s a real problem – Jeff can eat a WHOLE TUNA!).” Heh. There are actually some other questions in there with interesting answers, so it’s a little unfair to just pick out the more colorful questions and make it sound like Business Week just took out the kiddie gloves. Sure, it’s not the most hard hitting interview, but it does have some real information in there, as well as some “colorful” info to make it more interesting. I don’t have a problem with that.
