Users Sick Of Crappy Software

A new study has shown that companies think information about software bugs should be released to the public within a week even if the software developers haven’t come up with a fix yet. While many software companies say that bug finders shouldn’t be allowed to release info until a fix is made, corporate customers think that’s stupid. They’d much rather know where the holes are as quickly as possible – and knowing that having such info out there will make the developers have to respond faster.
