For the most part we’re still trying to figure out 2.5 and 3G. But the folks at Sprint are already working on XG, which is supposed to be wireless Ethernet for wide area networks. XG operates in the 2.5GHz spectrum in which Sprint has tried to deploy fixed-wireless broadband before. Sounds like they have some spectrum they don’t know what to do with and are looking for an MMDS alternative.
