Mobile Payment Forum Board adds Mobility to Payments

The Mobile Payment Forum is an industry trade group founded by credit card companies Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB to develop standard for secure mobile payments. Today they announced 5 new board members, 4 of which are actual mobile operators. They have over 100 members but taking a quick look at the membership list you get the idea that everyone but carriers is interested in mobile payments. With the new board members there are a total of 11 mobile operators involved.
