Google Lets People Play Around With New Technologies

Google has apparently decided to set up free focus groups and usability tests by putting some of the random things their experimenting with online for anyone to play with. As the article points out, plenty of things are completely random experiments, and are unlikely to go anywhere. However, some of them could hint at directions Google might move into, such as a system to get rid of pop up ads and to navigate through websites more easily.
