Everybody Gets Hacked But You

from the worry-don't-worry dept

Wired has an article about the recently released study saying that 90% of respondents to a survey from the FBI said their company’s computer systems had been hacked at some point. The article says that you probably shouldn’t worry if you’re a home user, though, because hackers are unlikely to directly break into home systems. However, then the article goes off on this tangent about a CIA worker who brought work home on his laptop – and basically saying he should be afraid of home hack attacks. I guess, by extension, they’re saying that if you happen to keep top secret classified documents on your computer then maybe you might get hacked too. But, otherwise, don’t worry.
