Half A Billion Dollars + 1 Year = Nothing
from the why-bother? dept
Last year we posted a story about how, even in these awful times to raise money, Sigma Networks had raised nearly half a billion dollars based on just an idea (and the good name of Reed Hundt). Only a few days later we pointed out that it wasn’t really half a billion, but it just looked like it. It was still a lot of money. One year later, and the company is dead. Gone. Nothing left. You would think that if someone gave you over $400 million to play with, and a year’s time, you’d figure out something worth doing in that time.
